Truman Show + Wreck It Ralph + Abre Los Ojos/Vanilla Sky
Damn, kino are back to menu, iron!

Idk if that's such a good idea. Seems like the target audience for this film and branch covidians would have some major overlap.
Do any of you still watch movies/tv? I assume not since there is no board for it after all this time.

Just saw that this released last month. Hadn't heard anything about it.
Apparently had a $100 - $125 million budget and pulled $317 million. More than half of the gross was international. With the domestic, it barely pulled 115.
So it would've been a flop without the West Taiwanese market propping it up. Not that movies are about making money, more like laundering it (https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Hollywood_accounting).

Indeed
The concept is great because it's based on the game, the conflicts also carry over from real life and the game world. The comedy elements are hilarious, and the editing is kino.

The story is unique and the plot is awesome.

The only major criticism I have is that they couldn't write the movie without any tieback to low-intelligence social justice ideology. Aside from those three or four lines, it was pretty good. A couple plot holes here and there, because the writers cared more about making a good story than a realistic video game, but they don't really hinder the movie at all.
